what a dissappointment

I've been using the Under Armour Men's Valsetz 2.0 for a few years and I could not have been happier. It seems like UA decided to discontinue that model and now we are stuck with a lesser model that doesn't even come close when it comes to quality and comfort. seems like a more honest name for this product should be Under Armour Men's Valsetz 0.5

Review from an Australian Cop

I brought these as my duty boots as I want a light weight ankle boot for work. These boots are so light and easy to wear for a 10 hour shift. My only issues are the laces fall apart very quickly, I had to go and my my own laces to replace the UA standard ones that have all started to fall apart were they go through the eyelets. I would also like a harder wearing sole as mine have already started to wear down after 8 weeks of wearing them. If these two issues could be fixed these boots would be awesome.

The boots were true to their description, although there was no insole information. At the retail price point these boots are, I feel they should have a much better insole. They have no support at all as the insole is as inexpensive (cheap) as they come. I will do more research before purchasing another pair of UA boots or shoes.

Disapointed in stitching

I bought these boots about 6 months ago. I have worn them sparingly (i havent even worn the tread down) the stiching around the toes left boot is splitting apart. I love the fit and comfort of this boot but the quality of stiching makes the boots a disappointment for the price i paid. This is not the level of quality i have come to expect from this brand.

Poor design

I bought these for a new work boot. They need to move where they attached the tongue of the boot to the or just not attach it to the inside of the boot, cause were the tongue folds up is digging into my ankle bone making it very painful to wear after a couple of hours.

Not Water Resistant

I bought these for hunting. Mainly because they fit well and they were WATER RESISTANT. Turns out I couldn't even walk in wet grass without getting my foot completely soaked. Waste of money.

Under Armour boots

The fit of these boots are perfect.I am very satisfied. The style is amazing! I suggest this company for everyone.

Great Shoe

This boot is extremely comfortable, walking on gravel felt like I was walking on air, love the durability of the boot, easy to clean. Keep up the wonderful work

Comfortable and Light

I'm an cop in Australia and now on my 3rd pair of these so they get worn 10 hours a day. They're massively comfortable and light, I'm talking running shoe light, and I've not destroyed any yet or had any of them come apart so they're pretty tough. I"m anywhere between a UK 9 and 10 size normally and I wear 10's of these which are fine. I wore a pair of the Valsetz 2.0 before these and i definitely prefer these as some of the grip at the rear of the sole came off on the other ones after about 3 months. I'd say they only last about a year before they look too shabby or the sole wears down. The laces aren't very good, I've snapped them on all three pairs I've bought after about 8 months, just through them wearing down on some of the lower lace holes. You can see it fraying and getting worse the longer you wear them. I've worn them once in a downpour and feet got wet eventually but i'd say they'd be okay in showers. Just not torrential rain for 4 hours. I wear other leather boots I have for the really bad weather. I'm going to keep buying and wearing these. Most comfortable boots I've had in ages, lots of support and you can get a decent price if you look online. I've recommended them to other cops, a few of whom have bought some and they are all still wearing them. Hope this helps.
