The original innovation our founder dreamed up. This super-breathable fabric wicks sweat and regulates body temperature so you feel cooler, drier, and lighter than ever.
Not sure if this is considered a technological change or just a way to save money on manufacturing, but the new Core Tank Undershirt is nothing like the Original Tanks, which they were meant to replace.
The fabric is way way thinner which means my skin is clearly visible through the undershirt and it doesn't perform as well. Also the fit is just not as tight.
I can see this as an alternative offering to those who may find faults with the O Series, but for those of us who chose UA due to the original offering this is a let down.
If UA sees this, let me know what you did to improve the undershirt that makes these changes better.
I ordered this shirt hoping I was adequately replacing my aged O series tank top undershirts. I was completely disappointed!! These shirts are not made anything like the old ones and should be discontinued and the O series revived.
The shirts are way too thin, not flexible enough and just overall not what you would expect from UnderArmour.
These are comfortable undershirts that look and stay neat during wear. Wider shoulder straps lie flat and don't bunch up like some A-shirts. The fit, however, is looser than the usual UA fit, lacking that reassuring body-hug. Most disappointing feature appears over time: after just a few months' wearing and washing, the fabric pills to where it looks like an old shirt. I've come to expect more from Under Armour.
Great fit, breathes well. Excellent for my workouts. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Light and comfortable, soft to the touch. Fit is a little looser than I had expected. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I've had a lot of different undershirts but these are the most comfortable shirts I have ever owned. Size is true and the fabric is soft and wicks away moisture. Excellent product, I will be buying more. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This t shirt is terrible. Please bring back the old heat gear t shirt.
I've worn regular cotton A-shirts for a long long time, and just got a pair of these. Insanely comfortable, won't be going back to the other brands again!
These are certainly different then the more snug fitting tank tops Under Armour had before so I was a bit unsure about trying these. Overall I'm pretty happy with these even though they are different. They don't fit as tight so they actually feel cooler and lighter. There is no visible seem and they are long enough to tuck in. I plan on buying a couple more.
This is an OK option for those trying to class up their look. However, so much is lost in the switch. The fabric is not Heatgear. It's more like the Charged Cotton (and thin enough to see through at that). The fit is draping and does nothing to show off physique. The neck is high, trapping heat. It's fine to sleep in on a summer night with the window open. However, the tighter, stretchier Heatgear tank is far superior and those with the body to rock a tank won't care about modesty. On a positive note, this might be the best muscle style undershirt on the market. The neck line is low enough to hide under a tee.
