The original innovation our founder dreamed up. This super-breathable fabric wicks sweat and regulates body temperature so you feel cooler, drier, and lighter than ever.
Honestly, these leggings were quite good in most ways! The seams are strong, the fabric is thick without being too thick, and they're good for both warm and cool weather. For this, I would have given them a 5/5!
The problem is the mesh crotch! I exclusively use the leggings as underwear, but I still don't feel like it's a very good design. I've been doing martial arts and weightlifting for years so this problem may be unique to me, but the mesh just doesn't stand up well to my day-to-day activities. I've had multiple pairs of these leggings in different colors and lengths, but they all have the same problem of the crotch getting worn out much more rapidly than the rest of the garment.
At first it seemed like they were perfect, but after a while I would put the leggings on and notice they felt different. I'd take a look at the mesh and notice it was getting thinner, with runs in the fabric and the mesh holes expanding slightly. From that point forward the mesh crotch tends to degrade rapidly, and will begin getting holes the size of a silver dollar after a few more workouts.
I understand that I may be an unusual case- I spend a great deal of time practicing kicks and doing deep squats with heavy weights, but I just can't shake the feeling that it's not good craftsmanship to use thin, easily frayed mesh to make one of the most frequently stressed parts of a garment. The crotch of a pair of exercise leggings has to be able to handle squatting, kicking, stretching, and the friction of thighs rubbing together, and mesh seems to be a poor choice for this purpose.
Another note- the fit is a bit tight! I normally wear around a size 33 waist for pants, which the size chart would classify as medium, but XL is what fits me the most comfortably. I have hips and quads much larger than my waist which makes this unsurprising, but even the waist is tight unless I go up to XL. The safe bet with these is definitely to go up a size when ordering.
I think I can confidently say that I prefer UA's 3/4 leggings cause they actually go past my calves (16-16.5"), so I don't get them riding up on me along with its amazing compression. I can go on sprints or 8 mile jogging and not get as sore in the legs. While the placement of the UA symbol is annoying, it's trivial compared to the benefits I get using this!
If you don't skip leg day, get this pair.
Also I wear compression shorts under these as well as shorts over em. you want people seeing your package that's on you, get a Jock Strap or something.
The leggings are okay, but as other reviewers have stated, the crotch area is sheer and see-through. I really mean it. I bought these for my boyfriend to wear to hot yoga and by the end of class it was practically obscene. I do not understand the design choice to make the crotch area sheerer than the rest of pants, perhaps ventilation? In any case, you should only get these if you plan to wear shorts/pants over them.
I never thought I wanted tights for working out, as I hate wearing sweatpants because they limit my range of motion (in my mind). But these tights are a whole different animal. I love the fit and flexibility and somehow they make me cooler while I workout. I have 3 pairs of 3/4 length and 5 pairs of full length, and they are a standard for my workouts.
Easily washable and retain their shape. I'm 6'3" so they are a bit shorter on me than on the model, probably falling 4-5" below my kneecap.
Highly recommend passing on the heat gear. Thinner than the cold gear. Which means see-through. These are a must wear with shorts. Problem with the heat gear is it forces every pair of Under Armour raid shorts to bunch and start to ride up your legs while walking or running.
I am working as porter in a hospital and this compression leggings helps a lot in ensuring proper circulation of blood on my knees. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Really like these, they fit great, perfect for working out. They are a little thinner than I anticipated but that hasn't been a problem yet. I ordered a second pair. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I wear these leggings for all sorts of activity, but I like them for hot power yoga because I sweat a lot and they give me some grip and support. These felt decent, though for some reason weren't as tight as my other compression leggings from UA, not sure why that is, but I've encountered this before; certain colours, which shouldn't matter, fit differently thank others. I've wore this product onfew times. I've wore it running and for fitness training and it stayes where it's suppose to. It doesn't drift down or ride up, [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Bought these for my son and they are perfect for under his uniform or practice gear. Easy wash and wear. The perfect fit-- not too tight but the perfect amount of compression. Like the 3/4 length so it doesn't bunch with socks or high top cleats.
The price was right too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
