For the love of god, size up

If I had another shot at this, I'd order a half-size up at least. These shoes are heavily padded inside around your foot, so there isn't the usual toe-room, especially once your feet swell. The soles have a great bounce and are fairly grippy but are not as stable as rain boots; these WILL slide on wet grates. I was worried the sock part would be irksome, but it's fine, and the shoe is satisfactorily water-resistant overall. However, what's below the sock-part is a problem. Despite being like cartoon slippers around most of the foot, there's ONE spot in the shoe without appropriate padding — where the heel seam meets the ankle sock. It's rough and sharp! Oh boy, does it stick into my ankles. But goodness knows I won't be able to add more padding into this shoe and wear it reasonably. Usually my running shoes have to most comfortable ankles of any shoes I own, but these are a hugely disappointing departure from that tradition. I wish I'd bought the newer model instead of going for the sale here, but I didn't want the software.

Niciest shoes I own

Very comfortable and I was able to run and it felt great
