This is the layer athlete’s trust when the mercury drops. ColdGear® eliminates the need to wear heavy, bulky gear in cold weather.
Great quality, very comfortable. Thick enough to keep you warm but not too thick to make you sweat too much while training or running outdoors
Sizing runs big. I found the Small to fit like a medium.
I train for marathons in winter in Arizona before work/dawn. Lows usually dip into the low 30’s/upper 20’s. I bought these after going for a 15 mile run at 28 degrees and when I got home I couldn’t stop shivering for a half hour. I realized just layering wouldn’t cut it. I bought the 2.0 top and bottom set and wore them over my regular running tights and long sleeve top. It feels like running in a cozy comforter. The fabric keeps me dry and warm without being heavy or overly hot. I love this product. I am back after 3 years because they have worked so well and I need another set. Highly recommend for people sweating in the cold. I am 5’5” tall and weight 135 lbs and small fits nice and snug but not too tight.
Ordered these as a base layer for snow-shoeing, intending to wear rainpants over-top. Ended up just wearing the tights and they worked great, kept me warm, but had good wicking properties.
I had other UA coldgear in an XL and found them a bit large, so I sized down to a large when I bought these. They were very snug as they don't really have much stretch to them and were a bit lower rise than expected. I lost a bit of weight and now they fit great, but I would say they run slightly small. They do have a bit of weird bumpy appearance due to the waffle pattern of the lining, but it didn't bother me - I'd rather stay warm!
For reference, I am 5'8, 190 lbs, and am now a size 12 or 32 in pants. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Comfortable fit, stays where you need them, 2.0 is perfect for this time of year when the weather is unpredictable [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Il is perfect when it's cold outside but for training it's not the best. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I bought these based on looks. Not too great when wearing on their own. A little see through and not as thick as I thought. Light and comfy and definitely warm as a base layer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I bought these because I was tired of see through leggings and o love them! Only thing is they run so big! I bought a small and there and loose on me! Super comfy though would definitely buy again just in a different size!
I bought these not knowing that base means under garment not tights. They are see through and have a different texture. If your looking for tights that are a long john style there great.
These were a gift and I removed tags before I really tried them on and paid attention to fit. These are a bit baggy in the leg, and I have to fold the waist down. I hoped washing would shrink them but it didn't.
The pair I have are a medium, which is my normal size, but if I had left the tags on I would return them for a small. There's no way I can wear these in the gym, or out in public, but they are very warm and cozy so I wear them around the house and as pajamas.
These have considerably less stretch compared to the regular cold gear or even heat gear pants. The material inside is comprised of small fuzzy squares, so buying a small size may fit better but I think the dimpling appearance caused by the inner material may make you rethink these if they aren't being worn under something. They are called base layer though, so keep that in mind.
These pants feel amazing! They are super warm and cozy. Perfect for lounging around the house. The only issue I had was that they were at least a size too big. I usually wear a medium with my under armor bottoms and these ran big. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend them.
