I got these about 2 years ago mainly for a lifestyle/daily sneaker. I eventually had to use these for my lacrosse conditioning at my university. I was pleasantly surprised by how light and supportive these are. I now use them as my go to running shoes. They also have held up so well that I can still wear them as an everyday shoe even though I run 2-3+ miles in them every day. Also super water resistant which is great for walking to my classes in the rain and snow.
Side note: I have been running competitively since 5th grade and have had to change running shoes every track season due to wear but these have been going for 2 years now with no tears or rips.
I have had the UA HOVR Phantoms for a month now and I am finding that they are some of the most comfortable shoes I have owned. I would totally recommend these shoes to the point I went out and bought a pair for my wife and she rates hers just as much as I do. They also have the bonus of the built in tracker which is a great addition to already awesome shoes
Extremely unhappy with these shoes. In hindsight I should have returned them but I decided to wear them a few times hoping they would improve. This a genuine review, as I purchased two pairs of shoes online at the same time and the others, the Charged Escape 3 Running Shoes I am very happy with and I just submitted a positive review. With the UA HOVR Phantom Running Shoes I purchased, the left shoe is mostly wearable, but I can feel the hard outer edge. The right shoe is the real problem as it is very uncomfortable, as around the point where the little toe joins the foot there is a very noticeable point in the shoe over half an inch (1.25cms) long where pressing down at the very edge of the insole is clearly not as spongy as the rest of the shoe. Both the left and right show have this, so it does not appear to be a one off manufacturing error. Other reviews on this shoe are positive so my advice would be to try it on in a shop first, and walk on a hard surface (not carpet) and really test that point where the toe meets the foot by pressing down to ensure it is comfortable, as maybe I just got a bad pair.
Super comfortable running shoe. One of the best training shoes I’ve purchased. Very light weight and snug fit. Always buy under armour training gear.
I got these shoes in summer and felt very comfortable and enjoyed walking long distances. I even got second pair of shoes. Now in winter season feel shoe width changed and they are too tight and fingers stress out. They dont have width shoes in HOVR Phantom, so have to witch brand.
One of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. Absolutely great for walking or running. I'm 5/9" 250 lbs bodybuilder. Highly recommended.
Absolutely amazing so comfortable and light usually when shoes are light you feel everything underfoot not with these I can stand in them all day long and they feel like your putting on a pair of socks but how much they breath don't have to worry about them getting hot. The step tracker built in you don't feel and is super accurate. The price seems high but once you try it you won't regret it.
