The original innovation our founder dreamed up. This super-breathable fabric wicks sweat and regulates body temperature so you feel cooler, drier, and lighter than ever.
I have at least 8 v neck tech tees and 12 regular ones that have lasted for years. Only tee shirts I wear. Last two I got were made it Haiti vs Vietnam or Jordan. The stitching around the collar is so corse as to make them practically unusable. Terrible quality control. After 10 years may have to look elsewhere.
Fits perfectly on shoulders and chest, a little looser around waist, but not too bulky. Light and comfortable for workouts. Also looks good with a pair of jeans or shorts. I’m buying more.
So disappointing as the fabric is see through and rips very easily. Looks terrible on.
The shirt seems to be well made for its purpose. However, for some inexplicable reason UA chose to put a horrifically irritating tag right along the inside seam at the lower ribcage area. Even cutting the tag VERY close to the seam doesn't entirely eliminate the scratchy/ pokey / itchy / chafing annoyance. Now that tagless shirts are virtually everywhere I'm surprised and disappointed that UA didn't figure this out, especially in a shirt that's meant to be worn in an active / performance-oriented way.
I purchased this shirt for my husband. He loves the UA V neck shirts. Great fit, comfortable cut. After one washing the hem started to unravel. After two washings, half the hem was gone. Three washings and the shirt is falling apart. So disappointed. This is the first time I have had a UA item totally fail. HELP!
The UA Tech shirt is definitely different that it used to be. I ordered the same size I typically do and it was way too big. I am returning today.
Ok, so when I first bought some performance t shirts for the gym, I started out with a few of those Charged Cotton (that have a bit of stretch) t-shirts, and for a while I liked them, but then they started to get on my nerves because they were a bit too snug around the chest, neck and abdomen. I just kept tugging at them when I'd overheat; trying in earnest to pull them away from my chest and skin! Ick!
Then I decided to try a few of these, and I hope they never ever discontinue them! Though they aren't cotton (I tend to have a preference for mostly natural materials), they dry faster, wick of sweat better and they are a looser cut around the chest/abdomen, but snugger around the arms (which I like; I hate baggy arm sleeves!!). Now I feel not so constricted and have fuller range of motion. I wear a small and have a 42 Chest; pretty athletic (for your reference). Thank you Under Armour!!
I am avid fan of UA, most of my tshirts/sweaters are from them. I bought 3 shirts like this and 1 from the store. 2 of those shirts starting getting frayed threads poking out, one was on the front and 2/3 on the back. I wash the shirts inside out in a bag to prevent them from being wrecked but that was not good enough...
I have had some of the older version of the UA Tech this didn't happen.
While this has not completely soured my experience with UA i may steer clear of this type of fabric.
Great shirt, I have it in 4 different colours. Great for working out or casual wear. More of a loose fit, I am 6ft, 180lbs and wear a medium which is perfect.
This is very comfortable looks very good, but runs big. Even for me with a belly, looks very lose. I usually wear large. I will try and medium next time.
