I’m happy with the style and fit... but you should know that the marathon red is more like a pink color....
The neck is huge ... looks like a scoop-neck. UA tailoring hasn't been good for the last 2-3 years. The fabric pills and irritates the skin.
Mthe medium size is perfect fit for me
The fabric is comfortable
The shirt is ok. I know it is fitted but seems to be tight in the arms for work outs. That and the material feels different than what I have bought before in the Threadborne line. It is not as soft. In the end it is ok.
5'9" 170, medium is perfect. I would describe the fit as fitted but not tight. A welcome change from the normal UA shirts which I feel are loose around the torso. It is also about an 1in or 2 longer with a pseudo drop tail hem which is a nice detail.
Super comfortable, great fitting shirt. I’m 5’8, 160 and wear a Medium. Fits perfectly. Sleeves are a touch long in my opinion, but not a dealbreaker. Would be nice if they made it in more colors, like black perhaps?
I enjoy a good fitted shirt and love the threadborne line so expected great things from this t-shirt. I had to order a size up, I typically wear a medium in most UA gear at 6' 180 - and I ordered that first but there was no way I was fitting in that thing, it was too small in the chest and shoulders.
I found this shirt fit odd as a large. I have other UA fitted shirts, but this seemed to pinch in areas rather than just fit nicely. Particularly around the armpits it seemed overdone resulting in a crease across the nipples. It actually could have been more fitted in the abdomen, I found it a little loose there. This was kind of the opposite of what I wanted so I had to return it.
For me the problem with most UA shirts that are "Loose" is that they are REALLY loose in the abdomen/stomach. The chest generally fits OK but I absolutely have to wear a medium (I wear a large in most other brands) or there's just too much fabric. In this case, the fitted part was more around the chest and I'm not sure what shape chest would fit.
My wife didn't really care for the pattern or hem. I was pretty neutral on them, but I thought they took away more than they added. The mottled pattern isn't particularly attractive and some might think you had a rare sweating disorder. It might be that the style is just not for my demographic.
This shirt really looks great in person, I've worn it to work and out and about around the city, as well as out on runs or in the gym and it works for both. Performance wise, this is a huge winner for me, planning on buying multiples of this one.
