I wear this every day in the gym. The color (black version) is awesome. It's stable and comfortable. Wish I would have bought the other colors before they sold out. Please bring these shoes/colors back!
The tan Project Rock Deltas were the first DJ shoes I bought and they are hands down the most comfortable, supportive and lightweight shoes I have owned.
For the gym (which is the only place I am wearing them) these are a godsend. They are very comfortable, particularly around the ankle, have a really good neutral foot position which is ideal for me and seem to be very supportive.
I have since tried to get DJ models as soon as they are released - sometimes successful and I even get these as gifts for people as I want them to have great gym shoes too.
I really dragged my feet on getting these shoes due to the high price tag. I own a few pairs of UA as well as Jordans and have never paid anything close. I have purchased the Rock apparel since the beginning and love it, read the reviews and decided to give them a try. These literally feel like a glove wrapped around your foot. I didn't actually know a pair of shoes could be this comfortable. The part around your ankle is a little weird at first since it wraps it so well, guess I am just not used to it but by the end of the first workout in them it was fine. They definitely run true to size, I wear 11 in all of my UA and these fit perfectly. If you are on the fence, jump off and get them before they are all gone.
This is a very well constructed shoe great for most gym work, you wont be dispointed as a gym shoe. Solid construction comes with twi pairs of laces the bonus is the whole rock braham bull on it. Obviously if you a pro cross fit athlete i would not texommend these but as an eveday gym shoe they get the job done. These are not meant to be competitive shoes or to do 3 plate squats in the gym. They are stylish and well constructed and perfect for evwry day gym wear!!
My wife got me these shoes for my birthday, and wow. They keep your foot in place, very comfortable. Like if you were walking on pillows.
I was a little skeptical on the project Rock stuff because of the higher price for the name. The extra money was well worth it. These are my favorite pair of UA sneakers. Super comfortable, wearing well and looks great. I wish I would've gotten another pair in a different color before my size was gone.
At first I was going to give these a 4/5 because of how noisy they are but opted not to because everything else about them is great. They sound pretty close to rain boots anytime I'm walking around at home but after heading out, all the ambient noise in the gym/outside/in general drowns it out. The issue comes from the insoles rubbing the base of the shoe.
As for the pros. so far are great for working out in. I lift and occasionally run in them, no issues so far. I was concerned they would be kind of stiff due to being high tops but the entire shoe is actually really flexible and moves with you.
Always stuck with regular gym/running shoes. However always just dealt with the occasinal sore ankle after years of rolling and spraining my ankles playing soccer. Decided to give these a go. Pretty much every workout item I own is UA and like everything else they are a great shoe. Very comfortable and great ankle support. The only problem I have is only owning no show socks. The ankle cuff and stitching around the top of the shoe basically gave me bad rug burns on my ankles while doing my running/sprints. If you get these and plan to do running or eliptical or stair work I highly recommend getting 1/4 length or higher socks
I have been giving these shoes a good run in my daily workouts and just under 4 weeks in. The tread of the shoe is starting to show wear on the outside heal and the tread (grey tread portion) on the upper sole is starting to separate from one of shoes.
The shoe itself is probably the most comfortable and highest performing shoe I have ever worn but at the price I've paid, I'd expect a better quality build and materials.
Hoping to connect with UA Customer Support soon on this.
Received these as a gift for Christmas. At first glance they seemed like a shoe for leg day and that’s about it. The more I started wearing them the more I fell in love with them. I find myself pushing them to their limits with different workouts. Aside for normal weight lifting with supersets, I was able to run and sprints and and long distance on different occasions. I’ve rolled my ankles in sports so the support is great in that regard. I wish they had more of my size so I could buy them in tan!
