The jacket does fit a little snug. I recommend sizing up. While not breathable, the jacket performs very well in wet/windy condition while keeping you warm. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I bought this coat for a light rain coat. I am Very happy with my purchase. Keeps the rain out and is very light. I don't get too hot. Its great for Golf. Love the fact there is a hood.
I find it a tad long (5 foot 7 inches). Could be cause I'm short lol
I would recommend this coat to anyone looking for a great quality rain coat
I have short arms - about 32". So... I am used to the sleeves being a bit long, but this is a bit much. The sleeves cover my entire hands unless I push them up. I wear a large usually but sometimes order medium to get shorter sleeves. The rest of the jacket is definitely medium in size in the chest and waist. I have a 31" waist and it fits snugly when zipped up.
Other than that, a great jacket that is made with attention to detail. Not very warm, but great for wind and rain.
What's the best way to remove wrinkles if you can't use an iron???
Purchased this jacket as something I would use as a top layer over other clothes when it was raining or windy. Ordered XL, usually wear L in jackets, and while the size is correct, the sleeves came with ZERO elastic in the cuffs. Didn't realize until now while browsing other jackets that it should have elastic cuffs. Without elastic the sleeves come down over my hands.
The inside net layer makes this fit really comfortably, even over long sleeves. I'm 6' and the jacket's sleeves are a tiny bit longer than I was expecting, but if it's pouring out - I like that my hands stay more dry - so I'm happy. The hood has a fantastic shape and the tailoring is done quite well - I have a feeling this jacket will hold up over time.
The only thing it's lacking is an additional seam under the arms so that you can raise your hands above your head with out the jacket exposing your shirt at the waist. I also think the shoulders seems are a tiny bit too narrow which further exacerbates this problem, despite the sleeve length.
The rain protection to breathability ratio is right on point, so I'll still give this 5 stars.
I looked all through Bass Pro and online and came here for Storm 3 dry protection and I was NOT let down!!! It is stylish and functional as I wore it over a t-shirt to stay dry and ended up also staying warm as it sealed in the heat. Lightweight and form fitting on an athletic person made this a MUST KEEP in my boat item! WORTH THE PURCHASE!
