Way better than cotton underwear

I was sweating a lot in my cotton underwear which made me feel drenched as cotton holds water. That all changed when i got UA's 9" Boxerjock's where the fabric wicks sweat away.

Very uncomfortable

You know sometimes you read reviews and think people exaggerate.. well this isn't that time. I read the reviews before buying and thought to myself: well they can't be that uncomfortable... They are. Im an arborist and wear chainsaw protective pants most of the time. They are hot and uncomfortable and some pairs chafe the inside of my thighs. Was looking for a good pair of boxers long enough to protect me. These are long enough and have kept the chafing at bay. Unfortunately they are really uncomfortable. Itchy even. I do not recommend.

Unfortunately not the same as the original UA boxers

I purchased the original UA 9" boxers a few years ago from my local sports store. I really liked the quality and feel. Recently (past year or so), I have purchased a few of the UA 9" boxers from the UA online store and unfortunately the quality & comfort are not the same as the prior UA boxers I acquired. Please reconsider the type of materials used for this particular item. Thank you, B.

What happened to my favorite training under layer?

I’ve had variations of the boxer jocks for years and years, always happy to return to them. That is until the last set. I was happy with the fit, and pretty content with the comfort - the problem was that they’ve barely lasted. Apparently... they're not made for training. Both the seat and the crotch elastic have completely disintegrated over just a few months’ time, barely still standing. Would not recommend them if you’re looking for a bottom layer that will last for more than 6-7 months.

Not Original!

I have to agree with a majority of the reviewers here that the sizing is OFF. Too large in the waist and a bit snug around the thighs....disappointed but will keep them since i wear them primarily for tennis.....Why did UA mess with a perfectly good fit????

thought i was crazy

I've been wearing UA underwear for several years now. I've tried to purchase several new pairs of underwear and found the the legs are extremely too tight and the waist was floppy and would slide down if i bent over. I thought it was because I gained wait and my old pairs were just worn and stretched out or the different colors were made different. After reading the reviews on this page I realized that it wasn't me, it was the company. They must have redesigned the underwear. I'm extremely disappointed the old product was awesome, comfortable and lasted years, now I have to find another company to switch to that fits properly and comfortably.

If I could, I would give it ZERO STARS

I have been wearing these boxer jocks for about 10ish years with no issues... About a year or so ago I bought a few pairs at the store... I noticed the waist bands were bigger and kind of floppy. They were also tight in the leg but not in the butt area... Oh well must have been a fluke. Good thing my old pairs are so durable. Fast forward to a week ago and now I order 3 pairs online. I got them in the mail yesterday and... Turns out it wasn't a fluke. Same exact problem. The waist band is over an inch bigger than my old ones, but the size guides have not changed... I didn't even bother trying to wash them to see if they shrink... Back in the mail they will go... Hopefully you guys come to your senses and go back to the old design. Judging by over HALF of the reviews here, this product sucks... In the mean time, I will be taking my business elsewhere... With so many companies offering a similar product UA better get it together.

Don't Fit

So after reading the reviews I decided to purchase for myself (all 3 colors). I have never brought Under Armour underwear before or tired them on. I liked the colors and the fell on my thighs. The underwear was very comfortable in the thigh area as that is a major issue I have. The issue I found with all 3 pair of underwear is that the butt area is small (tucked in) and the band in the back area pulls down. Therefore my butt is hanging out of the pants and this is standing up. So sitting down, bending over, or excising is out the question. If this issue could be fixed the underwear would be the best!

Skimping on Previous Quality

I have to agree with many of the reviews on this product. I have been wearing these since they first started making them in the mid-2000s. I still have pairs I own pre-2010 and the waistband elastic holds up and fits snug around the waist with little to no movement. Recent purchases of this "same" product have left me disappointed due to the drop in quality on the waistband. Current models waistbands are much looser and do not fit nearly as well. While I understand the lower quality may have increased revenue for now, you will gradually lose your loyal customers if this is how you wanna play it. Makes me sad, because I genuinely loved these. The only underwear for me for nearly a decade.

Fantastic Underwear....If you don't get Grey.

So this is probably the oddest item UA sells. Most of the reviews here are extremely critical of it, saying UA has changed the blueprints. They've tapered the rear so there's not enough room for your butt, tightened the fabric so it doesn't stretch or breathe as well, and the thigh exits are too tight even for people that skip leg day. I'm here to tell you that after a lot of experimentation with these, all of these criticisms are real... but only for the Carbon Heather color. For some reason the Black/Red color has the original product design. It isn't too tight but doesn't ever slip, the inseam is snug but stretches to make plenty of room without pressure, the rear is ample enough and the thigh exits are comfortable and don't mess with your circulation. I own Carbon Heather pairs as well, and they're a nightmare. Under Armour PLEASE fix the product inconsistency between your colors and PLEASE add in an Academy or Midnight Navy color version for those of us that want the best-feeling underwear in sleek colors that don't jump out at you like the Ambulance-Red waistband on these. P.S. I haven't worn the True Gray Heather/Red color so I can't contest to its comfort.
