My first HOVR

Love the data I get with these shoes. Comfort & fit are great too, but I’m a data junkie and love all the numbers I get from the MMR APP.... cadence, stride, foot strike, plus all the coaching tips. Very cool.

Does the job

I have tried to transition out of stability shoes 3 times over the past 3 years and injure my left inner ankle every time. Therefore, I have to run in stability shoes. They do the job of supporting my inner ankle. The technology works flawlessly. I only wish that the “crash pad” on the outside of the heel was a little softer. Otherwise, it’s a great shoe for the first 15 miles I have put on them so far. Oh... and the black and yellow look really good!

3 miles a day

I’ve been running 3 miles a day with these shoes since the quarantine started and they’ve been amazing! Great comfort and been good on my knees with the arthritis I have in my left knee.

Great shoes

The most comfortable shoe I’ve ever owned. I got these in a few. different colors., A must have

They'll get your feet moving!

I decided to start running with the ultimate intention of running a marathon. Within three weeks of owning these shoes (start of my running 'career') I ran 100+KM, including a half marathon (on a 22KM run). For the distance the shoes are pretty good. They are my first dedicated running shoe so I don't have much to go off, but I always have a good, secure feeling when I put them on for my run. I never think 'These shoes are going to hurt'. I think 'These are much more supportive than my regular day walkers'. I don't call shoes day walkers, but you get me. I ran some runs in regular day shoes and you can feel the impact on the floor and your feet will hurt. Not from running, just from bad support. specific stuff is meant for specific stuff. In terms of tightness/ pain when running long distances (in calves, feet, etc.). The more I run the more I realise I need to stretch more (before and after my runs) and do more mobility work. I also invested in supplementary products that monitor a bunch of running statistics (cadence, stride length, vertical oscillation, etc.) - which introduces more ways that I can improve. It's pretty darn addictive. The point is, these shoes got me into running and held me up for my first half marathon. They're comfortable, they support my feet well, they feel solid, they're not blocky, they don't 'get in the way' and they dry pretty quickly. Sometimes it's hard to focus when you run, but these shoes don't add any hassles. I recommend these shoes if you're looking to get into running. As for long term shoes? I haven't run my marathon yet ;)

Achilles Tendonitis

I have been struggling with achilles tendonitis for many years now, this is the first shoe that has given me the support that I need. In the past I have restricted myself from doing intense cardio because it would just add to my pain (job involves being on my feet 12-14 hours a day). So far these shoes have been great! My only suggestion would be updating and having a more accurate colour scheme (what's yellow is actually orange). Look forward to buying another pair for the outdoors!

Best support shoe

This is probably the best running shoe I have ever owned! I have suffered from back pain in the past which has limited my running ability. I have ran in these shoes 5 times this week without any issues! The most comfortable shoe, hands down.

Loving my 3rd pair of UA connected shoes

I bought my first pair of UA connected shoes, Gemini 3's, in 2017 and loved the technology, but those shoes were not for me as they were a neutral shoe and I am definitely not an efficient runner. Later UA came out with the Guardian shoe which is a stability shoe and I bought a pair in 2019. I found them to be a perfect replacement for my Brooks Adrenaline GTS shoes I had been dedicated to for many years. The Guardian shoe has the HOVR bottom which makes them very comfortable and I loved the information the chip in the right shoe was able to give me. Not only does it do cadence, speed distance, but it even knows the angle your foot hits the ground! After 400 miles I was ready for a new pair and found UA had came out with the Guardian 2's, updating the style giving more color options. I bought a pair of them a month ago and love them just as much.
