Product is very uncomfortable

As a loyal customer who wears pretty much everything Under Armour, I was not happy what so ever with these shoes. I had bought these for my trip to Iceland since I would be doing a lot of walking/hiking. I thought I should start by breaking the shoes in before the trip by wearing them to the gym and around work. They were very uncomfortable, but I just thought they needed to be "broken in" like other shoes. So, on the first day of the trip I wore them around and kept having to take them off because they hurt so bad. By the second day of wearing them the red color from the shoes was starting to bleed onto my socks. Safe to say I could no longer wear these for the rest of my trip as they just hurt my feet so much. I have never given Under Armour a bad review but this is the type of review I wish I would have read before my trip.

My Fourth Pair of UA Trail Shoes

I have two pair of STR and a pair of Newell Ridge so thought I would try the KTV. So far, so good. Usually walk about 5 miles a day so need good sturdy shoes.

Amazing Traction and Cushioning

Right off the bat the reason Under Armour didn't get a full five stars is because the tongue has a padding to it, and at the seam above the toes it's not comfortable off the bat. Also I knew this going in, but as a trail running shoe they should apply some STORM technology to the shoe to make it more water repellant. I've had the shoes all of 4 days, but let me tell you, I took them through 45 miles of Yosemite hiking, all over slippery granite surfaces, to waterfalls, to jagged rocks and more. They worked great for what I was doing. They absorb the impact wondefully and the cushioning around the ankle felt great. I'd put these against other shoes in its class (Merrel, LA SPORTIVA, SALOMAN) all of which I've tried. Thank you Under Armour, and a big thanks to Michelin as well for the amazing traction and tread. On an unrelated note for Under Armour. I prefer your low top hiking shoes, but the only one actually designated for that is your FAT TIRE 3 in a not so pleasant color. Those would have been my first choice for purchase had the color selection been more than 1.

Good shoe but not for whats advertised...

So I purchased this shoe after looking at alot of products. With UA the hardest thing is actually seeing the products in person as their stores and dealers typically don't stock much. I wanted something with good traction and somewhat weather resistant. I use them for work shoes and am a service technician that is in homes but walk properties. These seemed to fit the bill as they are marketed as a trail runner which typically means good in all conditions and terrains. 1st off I was glad I read the reviews cause even though UA said it was a true fit the commenters did not. I have many UA shoes and boots and can tell you they run small. Now the shoes look great and are light which is great, but.... They are essentially a porous net material that lets ANYTHING in. Loose dirt like you would find on a trail? Yeah, get ready to be popping that shoe off and emptying it. Any water or moisture? Forget about wearing these. You literally cant walk across a well kept lawn with morning dew or your feet and socks are soaked within the 1st 5 feet. These shoes are good shoes for indoor workout or outdoor dry pavement use, but the classification by UA of Trail Hiking is not at all the proper use for these and if you buy them for that then you will be SEVERELY disappointed.

Oh boy

Everything about the shoe is great. However, the reason I'm leaving one star is due to the fact that the shoe smells awful after only a few months of wearing it (with socks all the time). I can actually smell it while I'm inactive just sitting there .I've never had a pair of shoes smell so bad in my life. Its a shame because they are very comfortable .think twice about buying

Supposedly good but not durable.

I purchased this product on 6 October 2017. Bought it because I like how it looks. Not comfortable at the beginning but once completely break-in, its alright. I dont use it for running on trails, just for daily city walk. Unfortunately, today 2 February 2018, less than 6 months of literally just 4x per week usage, the area where the toe bump (punch holes) meets the trim (toe cap) easily was torn apart. I am not very happy because the durability is not good. It is not a cheap shoes and the quality is just bad. I am an avid UA brand user but stuff like this annoys me alot! Complete waste of my hard earned money.

Great Shoe

I was a bit skeptical at first when I purchased them as they seemed SO stiff, but after wearing on a few runs they broke in a bit and I grew to appreciate the remaining stiffness that was there. These are SERIOUS trail running shoes, I used them all summer and fall for trail running and ran two races in them. The protective toe cap prevents roots and rocks from being a problem, as well as the under foot rock plate. The traction is actually amazing, even in the mud. As other reviewers noted they are tight, BUT if you take your time to properly loosen the laces before you wear them and then again take your time with tightening the laces you will not have an issue. The tightness comes from the unique lacing eyelets that grip and hold the laces once tight. It took me a few weeks to figure it out... Otherwise a GREAT shoe!!!!!

Built like garbage

These sneaker are the most uncomfertable sneakers i have even had on my feet. For starters it said this was a wide shoe this shoe is made for an anorexic Foot . The top part that you tie are so tight that i cant get my foot in them. That is before even touching the laces to tighten them. When my foot is in them it feels like the side walls are Scratching the side of my foot. The outside of the sneaker feels like chicken wire.what a waste of hard earned $

Absolutely love theses shoes!

Our household is strictly an Under Armour family from top to bottom but I was a lil nervous purchasing these without getting to try them on in store first however with Under armours return policy it was totally cool and they fit perfectly! They r super light and literally fit like a glove. They run a little narrow but it worked great for my feet!!! The tread design works really well on all terrains. And they r extremely breathable as I live in Florida and my feet always stay cool. I bought the orange and black color scheme and am definitely buying the black and yellow as well. Amazing all purpose shoe! Thanks for another awesome product Under Armour!

KTV is one of the most comfortable athletic shoe for inside and outside the gym. Tried these for the first time today. Great support and cushion.
