This is a great lightweight compression shirt, you get a good locked in feel with out sacrificing movement and comfort it fits true to size and wicks sweat very well. Durability is good and is good value for money, I would highly recommend this product
I was a bit intimidated to try this type of clothing for the first time. I have recently lost quite a bit of weight and have always been self conscious of how tight clothing looked on me. But I must say that I find myself quite happy with the look of these clothes. Beyond pure aesthetics, they are very functional, the shirt hugs my skin tightly without constricting and making me uncomfortable. It's almost like a gentle tensor bandage effect, so when I've been working hard the day before, I found my muscles don't hurt quite as badly. I would highly recommend trying this gear if you do heavy lifting, it's great for recovery and you will look awesome while doing so!
This shirt fits great and is long enough to go past your waist and tuck into your pants. I use it for moisture wicking but also to keep warm in colder climates. Its a great long fit and keeps you dry just as it decribes.
I bought the underarmour heatgear top to replace one of my old cycling undershirts. So far the product has been excellent. The shirt is snug under my cycling shirt and keeps me cool while Im cycling in the harsh Australian climate. It is easy to wash and has not stretched. I have since bought another 6 in store and wear one whenever I’m on the bike.
It is a little tight around the neck but nice fit otherwise. It does exactly as it said. It compresses and enhances
In my experience, the "standard" UA heat gear compression shirts (short and long sleeve) have been getting better and better with each iteration. The newest, with the trapezoidal underarm panels, and in general, the occasional availability of Tall sizes, makes for a sport shirt I can rely on to stay in place, wick well, and not get hung up the way a looser fitting garment might.
A note - for me, the Steeltown Gold is a bit sheer, such that you can see individual chest hairs and areola outlines. Doesn't bother me too much, I wear it all the the same, but I figured I'd mention it.
Ive been using these as undershirts at work under a uniform and body armor for a decade or more. The new material they have released the last few years is sub par. Its much thinner and abrasive, also doesnt compress like the shirts of old. I still have some of the originals that ive used for 7+ years on duty and they are still alive, much thicker ans slicker which is much better. Please bring them back!!!!!!!!
Have been through my fair share of compression shirts and i must say this shirt is of premium quality. It fits great supports even my posture. I hope they dont stop making this shirt.
I have a bunch of UA compression shirts from many years back. That's a testament to the quality. I recently ordered two of these HeatGear compression shirts and was disappointed. The fit was good, but it seems like the material has changed. The old ones were silky smooth and felt like a second skin. The new ones were more rough and felt abrasive when I tried them on. I returned them.
Really firm fit. I wear these shirts as a base layer for working out. The tightness makes me feel like there's a bit of all around pressure and stops jiggle while at the gym. As a base layer i feel dry even though i've sweated heaps . Definitely be getting more UA gear.
