I got two of these in medium, the size I purchase all my gear in; these are certainly sized down, like the length is awful. I'm not sure how the sizing can vary so much from other compression shirts, but, its a bit annoying to be pulling down a compression shirt while maintaining pace. On the flip side, this shirt does do what it claims to as far as muscle recovery from repetition and aiding in sustained endurance; I like the shirts, just I wish I hadn't gotten thrown off by the weird sizing when I ordered, kinda shakes my confidence in sizing for orders to come on new items. I mean, as much as I do not want something too small, I want something meant to compress to big even less, and having to do exchanges kinda kills the point of 3-day shipping, you know? Seriously guys, the major part of your products have a standard to their size, don't throw in little abnormalities like this to shake my ordering confidence; this is expensive compression, brah.
When It says ultra tight you better believe it. When I tried on a medium my normal size it feels more like a small in the compression clothing. I do have a quite a few compression shirts so i can tell. I like the material and breaths well. Felt restrictive in the shoulders like it might rip if I moved in the wrong way :'(
I am 5' 8", a 32' waist, and 160 lbs (leaning toward muscular/average build)
I work out 4-5 times per week.
Great for after ride recovery, I had shoulder surgery and feel sore after riding for 3 hours. Have been using the Charge leggings and thought the shirt would help the shoulder. It has been helping with recovery.
I have been buying the UA Recharge line since they have been made. This product works great.
The fit is Very tight and takes time to put on but once on I hate to take off.
I found the Charged compression shirt and leggings to be very accurate when it comes quick muscle repair. Wicked expensive but worth the investment.
A little pricey, but it is an awesome product. Very satisfied to know that it will always be there for me.
Very tight in the right spots, good to use after training for recovery
Im not dissatisfied with product Im disappointed with the fact its advertised as MEN small yet my boy is 38kg 13yrs old it fits him perfect. How can it fit a man. Just a way to pay more terrible pricing
Great Compression Gear
Runs a bit small, wife originally bought Medium but had to go to Large.
Great for cold days
The compression benefits of this top are outstanding. I'm normally a size M in compression, but I had to order a L. Perfect to wear under a T-shirt and a parka for winter or just a T-shirt for mild weather. I didn't buy this to work out in, so I can't comment on its performance otherwise. But if you are after a tight fitting top to wear casually with something over the top, it's simply superb. The only con is the high price.
I am in my 50s, and retired military which means I have beat up my body for the past few decades. I still work out almost everyday. And the results are usually muscle aches on top of arthritis. A few months ago, I suffered a muscle pull in my arm. The doctor at the VA recommended I wear tight compression on my arm after I work out as part of my regiment. I decided that if he recommend that for my arm, maybe compression would work for my post work out body aches too. So I bought a set of these.
After my workout and shower, I put these things on, and the first thing I should say is, that to me, they are really tight. I mean, really, really tight...tighter than regular Under Armour compression gear. But once you get these on, they feel as if you aren't wearing anything extra at all. They are super comfortable and since they are heat gear, they will keep you cool. The first day, I wore them for 2 hours and honestly, for the first time in years, I had absolutely no pain, none in my arm, back, or the body parts I intensely worked out. So they more than do what they promise.
One word of advise, as you are putting them on, make sure the seams are in the right place because once they are on, it is very difficult to adjust them in any way without taking them off again.
I know they are costly, but for me, if they continue to lessen my aches and pains, then they are worth it.
Thanks Under Armour.
