I got this jacket to take on a trip that eventually end in Norway. I was able to pack the jacket in a smallish packing cube to easily fit into my duffle bag that held clothing for this three week trip. It provided warmth without bulk. I thought that the magnetic zipper tab at the base of the zipper was a nifty addition. I had to get a XXL after originally ordering an XL which proved to be a bit tight. The XXL did the trick. All in all a great jacket, and it was on sale. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This jacket is very warm and extremely comfortable. It is so light, that I forget that I am wearing a winter jacket. It is warm enough to keep me warm in minus 25 with just a t-shirt underneath. This is by far the best jacket I have ever owned. The pockets are lined with super soft fleece, the zipper locks together and doesn't split when you move or sit. I really only have 2 things that I didn't like with this jacket: 1. It fits very true to size, ie. if you wear an XL UA shirt, it will fit exactly the same way. Problem is, no one wears jackets as tight as they wear their t-shirts (or they shouldn't), so it is a little too tight - easily fixed by exchanging it for one size larger. 2. the cuffs are not very tight (not elastic) so if you are into outdoor activities in the snow, the snow will definitely end up in your sleeves. Overall, I am happy, would recommend and would purchase again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great fit....looks stylish....lightweight....very very comfortable [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Our son likes this coat and it is not too bulky. He is 5' 7" and weighs 140# and the small fits him perfectly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
When I got this jacket I could not believe how thin it was and was worried about performance. Suffice to say I live in a cold climate and this jacket is amazing. It keeps you warm but is not bulky. The only thing that is somewhat tricky is the zipper, sometimes the magnet makes it harder. Other then that awesome jacket. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Love this jacket for my son . It's light weight yet keeps him warm on winter days. I'm going to buy another for my other son . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Bought this jacket based on description alone thinking, if it keeps snow active users warm, it would be great for me to golf in.
I was not wrong! I own several UA jackets and they are all great. This one however, is my new favorite!
Whether walking or riding on the course, this baby keeps me warm, dry and comfortable! I doesn't allow me to overheat and is non-restrictive so I can swing freely and never feel that dreaded "I have too many clothes on" feeling (you winter golfers know exactly what I'm talking about.) Thanks UA for always being ahead of the pack with design, innovation and quality.
I got this in Medium "fitted cut," under "Men’s Ski & Snowboard Jackets & Vests" category.
The sleeves are way too long and loose at the biceps on these, compared to the torso, which is good.
The Small "loose cut," under "Men’s Jackets" category, was a better fit for me, but didn't have the color I wanted. Same torso sizing as the Medium "fitted cut" but with perfect arms.
This tends to happen with most UA products loose vs fitted, forcing buyers to choose between Small and Medium, and causing returns. I hope UA addresses this.
I own both jackets above. The inside chest zippers tends to get stuck on the fabric. Also, the main zipper snapped (2nd magzip jacket to do this).
Comfort, performance and function is great otherwise. Nice water resistance and wind-proofing. Perfect warmness and works well for Winter sports activities or in the rain. Extremely lightweight.
Now, before you questing the 5 stars, maximum comfort and performance. I need to tell you all of the things this jacket went through. I bought this jacket on New Years Eve at #UAChicago and it wasn’t actually planned. I had a jacket already but was slightly small. During New Years in Chicago, the temperatures had an average of what I would say is exactly 0°F which is around -17.5°C. I wore this jacket walking outside Chicago for at least an hour straight and not once would I complain or have any problem with it. Also, the jacket is so thin and is a huge shock on how thin it is yet still a great heat retainer if you haven’t used another Under Armour jacket. The week later, I came back to Ohio where rather than temperature being the enemy...snow took over. There was so much snow and even freezing rain a couple times. During the snow, the jacket held up great and didn’t get snow dotted like a lot of black jackets do because of its exterior material. Also, during the freezing rain, the jacket was incredible. It worked perfectly, and I was outside for at least 45 minutes running. During all of these conditions, the jacket has been my go to during the current winter and is a great piece to add to your collecting as it is light for running, thin so you don’t look like a marshmallow, and warm, so you don’t get cold(duh). This review is getting really long so I’m just gonna say my 2 complaints and the only time I ever noticed something I didn’t like with the jacket.
1. The pocket’s zipper got caught on the lining.(Not the jacket’s fault)
2. The stash pocket is huge and goes really low but depending on what Phone you have or what you will put in there, you might not mind it. Also, the stash pocket doesn’t have a stitched hole for earbuds, but honestly, you don’t need wires when Under Armour sells 3 different types of wireless earbuds which I recommend checking out as well. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this jacket.
