This is the layer athlete’s trust when the mercury drops. ColdGear® eliminates the need to wear heavy, bulky gear in cold weather.
ColdGear® Infrared lining uses a soft, thermo-conductive coating to absorb and retain body heat for lasting warmth.
The clothing is nice, but sized much too small. I returned the shirt and pants for the same reason.
Not sure why this top has gotten low reviews because for me there is nothing wrong with this tactical fitted long sleeve. Fits just like other UA coldgear tops, is true to size, already tried mine on and no issues as far as fit (comes fitted, not loose gear). I plan on wearing this on cold nights at work possibly under a coat in case I need to take the coat off and can still be warm.
This product went downhill. The old tactical cold gear fit great and kept me warm through 0 degree temps. This stuff fits in the torso and not the arms or the other way around. Don't waste the money.
Seemed to fit a bit tight round the chest and shoulders, and the sleeves were too long. Didn't really like the feel of the material and it wasn't very stretchy. I liked the old ColdGear much better.
I was told by the sales rep that the "New Infrared" product is better then the base layer product for extreme cold weather.
This was a lie. This product is good for weather at 20 degrees or hotter. I have wore it in -20 degree weather with a bullet proof vest and my duty shirt on and your arms and shoulder freeze within the first couple of minutes.
When wearing my 3.0 base layer I could be in my duty gear in weather that is -40 and be fine with no jacket for 10-15 minutes
